Barstool for Artisan, 2010
A solid wood barstool made for the Bosnian furniture company Artisan, the 7 is distinguished by its ergonomically shaped concave seat and its cross-shaped legs which elegantly merge into the integrity of the design.
The piece's shape and intricate and yet simple structure were developed from a sketch which started off with a silhouette. The end result is a piece that looks both vintage and contemporary, slightly reminiscent of early 20th-century design.
