Coat stand for Modus, 2010
Designed as a one-off exclusive for the designer goods store Modus in Zagreb, the Figura is a multi-functional hanger meant to be used to display clothing and accessories sold at the store.
Inspired by abstract art forms, the asymmetrical shape was envisioned as a two-dimensional line snaking and through three-dimensional space.
The piece is handcrafted out of a 6m-long thin steel rod bent in such a way to allow enough support to be used for items such as jackets, shirts, handbags, and more. Its simple and playful form allows Figura to discreetly fit into any type of space while also serving as a subtle statement piece.
